Our Story
My niece found her late grandmother's china tucked away in a cabinet — beautiful pieces that hadn't seen a dinner table in years. She held up a plate and asked, “What can we do with this?”
That question sparked an idea and created an obsession!
What began as a single project for a family wedding became something much bigger. The idea was simple: take the china that meant something — the plates from holiday dinners, the teacups from Sunday mornings, the serving dishes that held generations of recipes — and give them a second life as something people would actually use, display, and gather around.
Every tiered stand we make is assembled by hand using vintage and/or modern designer china, connected with elegant hardware, and built to be a statement piece — perfect for weddings, baby or bridal showers, family entertaining, gifts, home decor and so much more!
We don't mass-produce. We don't rush. Each piece is made with the same care as that first one — because every plate has a story, and we think it deserves an encore.

I'm the founder and creative behind Gilded Tiers, where every piece and project is thoughtfully curated and handcrafted with intention. What began as a love for vintage china and the thrill of the hunt has grown into a passion for transforming beautiful pieces into something meaningful, functional, and lasting.
